Passion, polish and professionalism is a the the core of what we do.  Starting with the written word,  Geo Soul Productions never ceases to catapult the creative process or push the envelope.  We have launched some of the most successful urban play runs in Tennessee including High School Skinny and Let's Straighten it Out.  Next, we are embarking on film and stage plays in the country music genre.

Established in 2003

Geo Soul Productions was founded in 2003 with the expressed purpose of providing entertaining and diverse stories to audiences that showcase the human experience.  We have worked with many national companies and celebrities and have a proud track record.

Our Goal

Simply put, our job is to give the audience an exhilarating ride from start to finish.  We pride ourselves on the written word and strive to bring the very best to the stage.

George Darden
Founding Creative Director

George founded Geo Soul in 2003 to provide outstanding entertainment to audiences. George oversees the creative content of the stage productions.  He is a writer and director and charts the course for the continuous expansion of Geo Soul.

Chris Alexander
Business Manager

Chris is the chief business strategist and manages the operations of Geo Soul Productions. With over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Chris was also the coordinator for the Tom Joyner Morning Show's Family Reunion Cruise.  She is the former host of the highly rated talk show Love and Happiness on Nashville's heritage station, WVOL where Oprah Winfrey launched her career.  Chris has worked with some of the biggest names in the business. 

Andre Minkins
Director Emeritus - Consultant

Andre is a celebrated director, actor, acting coach, writer, producer and professor.  He is an expert drama teacher and current coordinator of the Theater Department at Winston Salem State University.  He is a key coordinator for multiple theater and film festivals including the National Black Theater Festival in North Carolina.
